is an engraving technique in which a very precise intricate repetitive patterns or design is mechanically etched into an underlying material with very fine detail.

This is why i still love your blog after all these years... there is always something that simple astounds me. These patterns are just gorgeous. Back to playing with the Wolfram player example.
