We were lucky to celebrate Anya's first birthday together on the proper date. We also honored my father's 70th, a wee bit belatedly. He and I have had a rocky relationship, but over the years I've matured and he's mellowed. To be sure, a few stones and a handful of pebbles remain. Today at age 37 I live in the ghetto and struggle to keep track of my finances, let alone keep them in the black. At that age my father had four children, owned a home, and eventually put us all through college. It's a humbling comparison. Thanks Pop, and happy birthday. May you have many more.
