After graduating from high-school or college many American students
spend a summer in Europe. Their education is sealed-in by exposure to
museums, castles, and the desiderata of civilization. I opted that my
family spend the money on a computer instead, and the result fifteen
years later is that I find myself immersed in computers but utterly
lacking Culture. So I took the cure: two months in London, Western
Europe, and Morocco. Lura joined me in Amsterdam and with our trusty tiny digicams we played secret agent, taking forbidden photos and infiltrating the establishment. |
