Getting Sheep by BitTorrent

If you are on windows try the 2.6.6 from David McGrath with BitTorrent built-in.
On Linux v2.6.5 supports using Azureus
with its
RSS Plugin
to download sheep. Configure it to drop the torrents from the feed directly into "~/.sheep".
On Mac you can use azureus like on linux, but you have to move the sheep into
your cache directory manually.
If you have a firewall then you must forward ports 6881 to 6889 for BitTorrent to work properly. Or you can configure the client to use a different port range.

I need help getting sheep
i want to try this
How do I fix my ES? I have a WinXP, I am getting connecting to server error. Any help?
i have been trying to get downloads of any sort, and 24 hours after i started i checked the app support/electric sheep folder to find a folder called "gen202" which had zero kb in it!
why has this not been 'filling up'?
i tried this about 3-4 years ago, and nothing happened then either
i am using a mac running 10.4.6, and have a cable internet link that runs at upto 10Mb/sec

I downloaded the exe file to my desktop. Then I ran it, and installed electric sheep. How do I use azureus to get more sheep? I use azureus, but how do I put something on azureus to download the sheep?
if you have windows then you don't need to use azureus, it has bittorrent builtin.
that's for mac and linux users.

it dumps them in ~/.sheep// on my linux box. Therefore electricsheep doesn't reads them.
these patterns seem alive it is pretty spooky acctualy. this whole thing has the idea of harmless fun and artistically being one with each other on some level that everyone desires. but something about this seems very disturbing and that the whole idea is giving birth to a new entity this could be such a great thing or it could be the complete demise of human existance

I just started using this, but so far its the same sheep over and over and over and over.. you get the idea.. lasts about, i dont know 10 seconds or so, then the same one again.. I was under the impression there would be more?? Or does it take much longer than.. I think.. an hour.. or so.. its run so far.. am I just impatient??

are you using the windows beta version or mac osx?
the windows beta uses bittorrent and after the first couple the sheep come in batches that take a couple of hours to download. if you are running the mac version, then you are using the coral cache. if you are not getting sheep it means the bandwidth limits for your area have been exceeded, and you may have to wait a day before the limits come off. if you are running the windows beta with bittorrent, then you should get a good stream of sheep if you are patient. without bittorrent it's a crapshot -- it works for some and not for others. good luck & patience :)
Yeah, I am running the windows beta with bittorrent, and what do ya know?! I went to bed and when I woke up.. SHEEP! heheh Shoulda known all I'd have to do is go to bed and start countin', eh?! lol

Is there a way to manually download sheep and add them to your cache? I don't know when the next time I'm going to have hours to wait for sheep. And at night my wife uses the computer so there is no time there.
The folder Gen202 doesnt fill up. it says it has zero kb in it even after a day. why arent i getting the sheep?
I'm behind a corporate firewall and opening up ports 6881 ~ 6889 is impossible. 8(
