I saw HiFiDreams at the GooglePlex. I barely left. It was incredible. I was astounded, I was speechless, it was breathtaking. I felt like laughing in delight and crying - simultaneously. It was one of the most astounding artworks I've ever seen.

So basically what you are doing is having a lot of people give you cpu time , so you can have a final product that no one except you can have..
100 gigabyte isn't the end of the world these days.. I'd gladly let my computer download the whole thing in a few days.
Greed is the only motivation you can have for not making this poblic..
If not to everyone , at least to the people who helped rendering.
If you have doubts on where to post it , i'm sure a lot of people can give you hints.
@ Reasonable: HiFiDreams is an essential part of making the Electric Sheep better and more accessible. Running the public screen-saver network and keeping it free for everyone costs me quite a lot of money. If I don't find a way to pay for it, then the server will be shut down and the code will stop being developed. The plan is for the HiFiDreams and the Electric Sheep to form a symbiotic relationship.
I don't understand the cpu-time complaint. I support this venture and have passed it on to a colleague who has a similar (graphics development) machine and--if we get to view these wonderful images while "spot" takes what he likes and positions it to return the work he's put into this...more power to him. It's not like we're bereft of benefit here. In fact, this is a nice break when compared to the other p2p distributed computing options. Way to go spot!
