Photos from my two recent visits to the False Profit warehouse are here.
I released linux sheep client v2.4b5 which is the first release to include symmetries and C1 continuity and full-screen display (for linux). It looks great and i'm very excited. The first user appeared within minutes.
Alas, it's still producing a few bad frames.
After being tipped off by a friend I bought the Animatrix DVD and
watched the last track, "Matriculated". Sure enough, a number of
shots include backgrounds made with fractal flame software.
I spent friday night at the false profit warehouse for the rhythm society
summer solstice celebration "stone soup". yum! how delicious!
On tuesday night Curtis, Pato, and I take the red-eye home to
Pittsburgh to visit family and spend a week on the Outer Banks
of North Carolina. I plan on reading some books on the beach,
and remixing the kunstformen.
On sunday I saw 'Finding Nemo' and quite enjoyed it. The tech was unobtrusive,
the story was touching, and the message was good.
We saw it at the Metreon and there was a trailer for some cartoon movie before Nemo,
and a animated Fractal Flame was clearly visible full screen.
I was thrilled. The other feature film I've seen them in is "The One", where they are the
primiary element of the opening sequence.
