the highlight will be my friend and collaborator, techno-violin sensation kenji williams playing "gaia journeys", hot from the sold-out premier in denver, with earth visuals by carter emmart of the hayden planetarium.
then the electric sheep and i will blast-off from low-earth orbit into outer space, kick in the warp drive and head for the center of the galaxy, up-tempo and beyond....

The feature film Perfect
Stranger makes extensive use of Fractal
Flames in its title sequence. Thanks to Frantisek Fuka whose review (in czech) tipped me off. He must have quite an audience because traffic from his site showed up at the top of my referrer logs.
I always wanted to get written up by the New York Times... but who would have thought the story would lead with a butt shot?
The Boston CyberArts has been a mainstay for years and I'm proud to announce my participation for the first time. The festival runs from April 20th to May 6th and includes events all over the city. There will be two chances to see the sheep: Applied Convergence is hosting Emergent Consciousness on Saturday April 21st in their loft in Fort Point. The day begins at 3pm with demos of Ashanti and Korda's EKTA putting your brain in a feedback loop with a computer. My lecture on Dreams in High Fidelity and the Electric Sheep is at 8pm, followed by Sean Stevens' (of Mooninite fame) Synaesthesia audio/video/motion feedback rig. By 11pm we should be playing music, relaxing and interacting with the art and each other.
Second, on Saturday April 28th in the Visual Music Marathon at Northeastern University's Raytheon Amphitheatre in the Egan Building. The show runs all day and includes new and historic works. My piece "Star Oasis" will be played at 5pm in the "Best of the Digital Salon and SVA" segment.
This Saturday 28th Day presents a night of trance music at
CoSM, the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. I'll be projecting the
HiFiDreams all night.

28thday invites you back to our favorite and only stronghold of groovularity in the heart of Manhattan's clubland... following the success of last month's party with DJ Pena, we're continuing our residency this coming weekend -- now with three sound systems!
Friday April 13th is Yuri's Night, the international celebration of the first human space-flight.
Highlights include music by Plaid, Bluetech, and the Space Cowboys Unimog; a keynote address by Anousheh Ansari; and exhibition of Electric Sheep's Dreams in High Fidelity, whose purpose is to bring cyberspace to life. There will be space science and technology demos, documentaries, tours, interactive installations, and artwork in addition to the music and speakers. The all-night event takes place at Hanger Sofia at NASA Ames in Mountain View (see below-right).
